I wanted to try making spaghetti sauce with the Moose Meat instead of hamburger meat. I added a lot of my own ingredients into the recipe, but I mostly followed the website “Best Spaghetti Sauce Recipe’s” as a guideline. The sauce turned out alright, but it defiantly wasn’t one of the best meals I’ve made so far. I think the only reason it wasn’t that great was because I added to much thyme into the sauce and the taste was just a little overbearing.
Ingredients that I added were:
Vegetables- mushrooms, red onion, tomato, and green pepper
Spices and herbs- thyme, pepper, cayenne pepper, crushed pepper, bay leaves, and a lot of garlic
Tomato paste and flour
If you are going to try this recipe I warn you it’s pretty spicy. I like spicy foods, but even for me this was right on the edge of being enjoyable, also as I mentioned earlier don’t add to much thyme (unless you love the taste).
